Prequel coming in hunger Games The franchise has received a tentative agreement from SAG-AFTRA ahead of its release next month.
This means that The Hunger Games: Song of Songbirds and Snakes, the Lionsgate film could hit theaters on November 17, and its on-screen talent could promote the film in the coming weeks. Francis Lawrence directs a cast that includes Rachel Ziegler, Tom Blythe, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schaeffer, Jason Schwartzman, Josh Andrés Rivera, and Viola Davis.
The film qualifies because Lionsgate is not part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, which is currently engaged in negotiations with SAG-AFTRA amid the actors’ strike.
Other recent projects to receive a temporary agreement for advertising purposes include Bleecker Street’s project What happens later?,A24 Priscilla And Iron claw,neon Ferrari And the party movie Taylor Swift: Tour for the Ages.
Song of songbirds and snakes The film is based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins, and contains a script by Michael Leslie and Michael Arndt. Collins, Jim Miller, Tim Palin and Mika Saito serve as executive producers.
