The fourth-generation iPhone SE will feature an action button similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, among many other important new features, according to the leaker known as “Unknownz21”.

Earlier this week, Passenger described the fourth-generation ‌iPhone SE‌ as an “effective derivative of the iPhone 14,” echoing earlier reports from the likes of Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

in another tweetUnknownz21 provides some new details about Apple’s upcoming low-cost iPhone and reiterates that its design will be based on the ‌iPhone 14‌. The device will apparently have a USB-C port, moving the ‌iPhone SE‌ away from Lightning for the first time. It will also allegedly feature Face ID, dispelling previous rumors that the ‌iPhone SE‌ could keep the Touch ID button.

More interestingly, they claim that the device will have an Action button like the iPhone 15 Pro and ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ Max. This would be a clear distinction between the ‌iPhone SE‌, the iPhone 15‌, and the iPhone 15‌ Plus, which are not expected to offer this feature. The ‌iPhone SE‌ will reportedly retain a single rear camera setup like the current model.

Earlier this week, it was reported that manufacturers are currently bidding to take orders from Apple for fourth-generation OLED display panels for the iPhone SE‌, which will be a significant upgrade over the current model’s LCD screen. The next generation ‌iPhone SE‌ is also believed to be among the first to feature the long-rumored dedicated 5G modem. It is not expected to be launched until 2025.
