Andrew Lloyd Webber announced the death of his eldest son, Nicholas Lloyd Webber, from stomach cancer.

“I am devastated to have had to announce the death of my beloved eldest son Nick a few hours ago at Basingstoke Hospital. His whole family is together and we are all so deeply bereft. Thank you for all your thoughts during this difficult time.”

Nicholas has also scored a BBC 1 drama Love, lies and recordsamong other projects.
