Embrace successfully cracked the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which means that it was able to successfully bypass Denuvo’s latest release, Denuvo V18.
According to the hack, Resident Evil 4 Remake used four different DRM systems. Along with the Denuvo V18, Capcom has used Denuvo SecureDLC V2, its proprietary anti-tamper technology, and VMProtect.
Now as with all cracks, this basically bypasses the DRMs mentioned above. It does not completely remove them, which means they are still running in the background. However, the cracked version may contain fewer stutters than the retail version. After all, that’s exactly what happened with Resident Evil Village.
Since I finished Resident Evil 4 Remake, I can say that the game only has traversal chops. This stutter is mainly due to the game stream data for the following regions. Thus, I think you will also get the pirated version. However, it would be interesting to watch a video comparing them.
As always, we will not allow links to pirated content. So no, don’t bother sharing any links to it.
It will be interesting to see if Embrace will be able to hack the latest games with Denuvo. Dead Island 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came after RE4R. Jedi Survivor also uses EA’s app, which can be very difficult to get past. So yeah, I don’t expect a new Star Wars game to be hacked anytime soon.
Stay tuned for more!
