A company spokesperson said Tuesday that Target is making some “adjustments” to LGBTQ merchandise, including pulling some products from stores, after facing backlash from customers.
“The criticism is widespread,” Goal spokeswoman Kayla Castaneda told Reuters. She added, “People reach out with feedback…and while some share it with constructive criticism, they disagree with the product decisions we made.”
CastaƱeda said one of the brands being pulled LGBTQ is Aprallen, which makes T-shirts, jackets, and bags.
Its British designer, Eric Carnell, has come under scrutiny on social media for designing merchandise with images of pentagrams, horned skulls, and other satanic products.
