“I’m very afraid of spiders”

Kim Kardashian revealed that she overcame her years-long fear of spiders, with a new starring role in the movie American Horror Story: Delicate.

In a hilarious backstage scene, the 42-year-old reality star, who has previously spoken about her arachnophobia, admitted she is still “very afraid of spiders”.

Even though the official trailer for her show’s upcoming season is full of spiders, she still gets nervous when she sees anything that looks like a tarantula.

“These eyelashes were sitting on the table, and I almost screamed because I thought they were spiders,” the mother of four said with a laugh, referring to her false eyelashes that resemble spider legs.

The footage was then transferred to a SKIMS pole with a giant spider wrapped around her torso as well as a recording of her wrapped in cobwebs while holding a baby.

Speaking about working on a scripted series, after more than two decades on reality TV, the Los Angeles native said: “Anytime you try something, you just have to have the intention of growing and challenging yourself.”

“Then you can just let loose and have fun,” she added.

Kardashian went on to describe American Horror Story: Sensitive as “very different and scary.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum has a well-documented terror of spiders, which led to her fleeing the stage during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

After the comedian played a fake spider prank on her, Kardashian jumped out of her chair and ran toward the theater exit.

The host explained that she wanted to help her “overcome” her fear of spiders.

In 2020, for Halloween, the arachnophobe said she “overcame” her “fears” when she dressed up as a spider and decorated her house with a huge spider sitting on the roof.

In the past, Kardashian has referred to spiders as “horrible” and admitted that they are her “biggest nightmare” and that she “absolutely hates them.”

In an episode of her E! The actress admitted to bribing a pet store employee with $100 to tell her eldest daughter, North, that spiders make terrible pets.

“North has brought up a few times now because she wants a pet spider,” Kim said.

“And that will never happen.” Like never, ever, ever, as long as she lives under my roof. will not happen.’

In 2019, Kardashian was horrified when she discovered three spiders in her garage and wrote on her Instagram Story: “What the hell is that?” It’s mating season, apparently. I won’t be able to sleep tonight knowing this was in my garage.
