Pokemon Go’s latest Halloween update introduces a variety of unique new costumes that have left the community divided.
Pokemon Go is having a huge Halloween party this year, and it’s not just Pokemon getting into the spirit of things.
While players may find Pikachu in a Tricks & Treats costume, Vulpix sporting a Spooky Festival appearance, or even Piplup dressed as a Halloween Mischief, the fun doesn’t stop there.

Trainers themselves can get into Halloween mode with special avatar items and stickers available for purchase during and even after the event. However, some new items in the store have left the Pokemon Go community scratching their heads.
Coach took to Reddit To share a photo of the new style options, captioning it with confusion: “I’m sorry, but what is this?”
The image in question showed the player trying out the brand new Yamask Mask, available for 200 coins. But what really caught the community’s attention is the strange Cofagrigus costume that is now up for grabs as well.

Reactions were mixed, to say the least. Some guys have a good sense of humor The outfit is described as “Nightmare Fuel,” while others were impressed, declaring it “perfection” or exclaiming, “This is the best thing I’ve seen all day. This is it.”

The Halloween-inspired costume featured a gold Yamask mask paired with a full-body Cofagrigus costume that sparkled in gold with an additional pair of fuzzy Cofagrigus limbs sprouting from the back.

This year’s Halloween event isn’t just about costumes. Trainers can look forward to a plethora of activities, including the debut of Shiny Zorua, improved Candy rewards, timed Specialist Research, and exclusive in-game store packs.
Plus, through a special collaboration with Amazon Prime Gaming, coaches can score unique avatar items and more. The event promises unique rewards, raid updates, and new Pokestop offers.
