Taylor Swift's camp has responded to allegations that her father Scott assaulted photographers in Australia

Taylor Swift's camp is speaking out after the singer's father was accused of assaulting a photographer while they were in Australia early Tuesday morning.

The star's father, Scott Swift, allegedly beat up a photographer on Sydney ferry docks as the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker was exiting a yacht.

Local police have not confirmed he is the singer's father, but said a 71-year-old man assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf at about 2.30am, a NSW Police spokesman said.

However, Swift's spokesperson has since set the record straight in a statement to Page Six.

The singer's camp said: “Two people were aggressively moving toward Taylor, grabbed her security personnel, and threatened to throw an employee into the water.”

The alleged victim, who reported the incident, did not need any medical treatment, police added.

The photographer said he did not understand what prompted the alleged violent explosion.

“It was a shock,” he said. “There was no need for that. Security had it under control.” News.com.au. “I'll leave it in the hands of the police now.”

The 14-time Grammy Award winner wrapped up her final Eras Tour show in Sydney on Monday.

More than 600,000 tickets were sold for its seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney, including three sold-out shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with a record audience of 96,000 fans each night.

One of those die-hard fans was her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who flew to Australia to watch her perform after enjoying a spa day at Sydney Zoo earlier.

His trip to Sydney was short, as he was seen returning to the United States the next day.

On Tuesday, the singer's luxury private jet was seen taxiing down the runway at Sydney Airport around midday, just hours after the alleged altercation. The Daily Mail reported.

Swift and her team, as well as her father, are believed to be on board the plane.

The pop star now has a few days off to recover before she returns to the stage in Singapore on March 2 for the next leg of her sold-out world tour.
