“The Harry and Meghan Show”

A former Royal Protection officer has criticized Harry and Meghan’s “presidential-style” trip to Nigeria, describing it as a “Harry and Meghan show”.

The Sussexes have a four-person security team for the three-day trip, which comes after Harry celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

“Seeing all his presidential security style is really infuriating,” Dai Davies told The Mail.

“For a couple that says all they want is privacy to visit one of the most dangerous places in the world, and I’m not saying that, the State Department is also crazy and you have to wonder why.”

“You have to ask yourself is it all about the charity or is it a Harry and Meghan show.”

Harry and Meghan dance with school children

Harry and Meghan danced with school children, jumping and twirling, before interacting with the children.

They then talked to the children about mental health, telling them there was “no shame” in feeling down.

“There’s no shame in being able to admit that today is a bad day, okay?” Harry said.

“You woke up this morning feeling sad; you were at school and feeling stressed; you have lost a dear person in your family and you don’t know who to turn to or who to talk to,” the Duke of Sussex added.

He urged students to talk about their psychological problems.

“The more you talk about it, the more you can get rid of the stigma, fall farther into the long grass, and then everyone will have the opportunity to be able to share how they feel, how they cope, and then it can help other people,” Harry said.

“So, if you take anything away from today, just know that mental health affects everyone,” he added.

“Everyone in this room, the youngest and the oldest, everyone has mental health. So, you have to take care of yourself so you can take care of others,” Harry said.

Megan urged students not to suffer in silence.

“Just make sure you take care of yourself and that starts with your mental health by really talking about everything that’s going to happen to you,” she said.
