Thunderbolts Movie Poster Appears To Give The Sentry Six Fingers On One Hand, But Not Everyone Is Convinced

The first trailer for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts dropped Monday morning and it seems to have generally been a good start for fans. The film brings together some of the MCU’s most iconic villains and antiheroes, and introduces Sentry (Lewis Pullman), who makes his live-action debut. Sentry also appears to have gained an extra finger along the way for some reason on the poster.

A The poster has been released. Shortly after the trailer was released, the team is shown huddled together in awkward poses, and it’s one of the better-designed posters we’ve seen in recent years. However, fans have noted that AI may have been used to extend the original frame as Bob/Sentry has six fingers on his hand. Something that wasn’t present in the trailer. In the released poster, Bob’s right hand has six visible fingers. If this is the result of AI, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time Marvel has used the technology. The studio previously experimented with generative AI in the opening credits for Secret Invasion.

This version of the Thunderbolts consists of Red Guardian (David Harbour), White Widow/Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). In the comics, they were members of the Masters of Evil, led by Baron Zemo, who all used superhero aliases to gain the trust of the world.

Thunderbolts is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 2, 2025.
