Zendaya wore a sequined sari with a gold ornate bra on the red carpet

Zendaya can wear just about anything and look amazing. Zebra print hot pants and matching camisole? Finished. Flowery hybrid? easy. At this point, nothing surprises us — that is, until today when her latest appearance had everyone unable to pick their jaws up from the floor.

While attending the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) Gala in Mumbai, India, Zendaya slayed in a custom midnight blue sari with gold embellished bra by Indian designer Rahul Mishra. The one-shoulder dress featured a garden-like scene with colorful hand-embroidered flowers blooming from the bottom and extending into the gown’s long, dramatic train. Meanwhile, the rest of the saree’s sheer fabric has been covered in shimmering sequins.

Zendaya didn’t need any more bling, as she accessorized with just a gold bracelet on one wrist and matching earrings. Her wavy brown hair was pulled back into a low, flowing bun with a middle part and a soft cut, and she finished off the look with a pink glossy lip, flushed cheeks, and smoky eye makeup.

Also at the event was Zendaya’s boyfriend Tom Holland, who wore a classic black suit — though they walked the red carpet separately (Z and her dress needed their moment, after all).

But the couple spent plenty of time together yesterday.
