Young American Calel Langford rose to fame because of a life-changing stroke of luck.
Usually, the stories of middle-class people who become millionaires are filled with stories of progress and entrepreneurs who started small and made big fortunes.
However, many statistics show that most rich people inherited their money. For Kalel Langford, his luck came not from the lottery or any draw, but from a walk.
This young man from Arkansas, USA, became famous on March 11, 2017, when he was 14 years old when he discovered a valuable diamond. Almost a million dollars Crater of Diamonds State Park is located in the small town of Murfreesboro in his home state.
While walking through the state park, Kalel accidentally found a 7.44-carat brown diamond in a stream, the largest diamond recorded in the park since 1978. “We were only in the park for 30 minutes and he found it. The color was so dark, we didn’t know it was a diamond, but we knew we had to check it out,” explained Kalel’s father, Craig Langford, speaking on the park’s official website.

Kalel has been interviewed by several local media such as The Arkansas TimesThere he said he was only a few centimeters away from the stream when he found the diamond.
It was located in the southern part of the park near the eastern drain. Galel commented The Arkansas Times Named as Manikam “Superman Diamond” Because of its association with the popular DC superhero.
