Cops said a man was shot twice when a bullet rang out outside a public school in Brooklyn late Monday night.
The 47-year-old victim was shot in the back and once in the arm outside PS 678 East New York Middle School of Excellence in East New York at 4:45 p.m., according to police.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

Policemen said three suspects, dressed in head-to-toe black, fled on foot after the shooting.
There were no arrests. Police said an investigation is underway.
