The reality star confirmed via Instagram Stories on Monday that NeNe Leakes’ 23-year-old son, Brentt Leakes, suffered heart failure and a stroke earlier this month.

“Two weeks ago today, Brent had heart failure and a stroke,” Nene partially explained. “He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like this to happen to him.”

earlier on Monday, TMZ reported That Brent – who appeared alongside his mother on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” – was rushed to the hospital after a medical emergency.

The owner of the lounge spent several days in the hospital, but has since been released and is in rehab in the hope of a full recovery, sources told the outlet.

Looks like it’s been a while since Brent has been active on social media. The last post of the owner of the young club Subscribed on Instagram It was a fun video with NeNe and he captioned, “😂😂😂 The best mother-son duo name, I’ll wait 😭,” on September 10.

As of Monday, NeNe gave no indication that she was addressing this personal matter on her social media.

Nene’s son Brent Lakes has reportedly suffered a heart attack and stroke recently.
