Get a ton of Starfield Credits for free before Bethesda’s big patch

Starfield It’s one of the biggest RPG releases of the year so far, and Bethesda’s most successful release overall. The interstellar experience puts you in the shoes of a hardened space explorer capable of traveling across galaxies. With all great Bethesda games comes the potential for exploits or glitches, and Starfield is no exception. Since its recent release, fans of the game have been able to find easy ways to get quick credits. Although this is not necessarily as honest as selling old equipment to resellers, this exploitation pays off well.

As detailed further in our Starfield review, Bethesda’s latest entry into the beloved RPG series is phenomenal. Considering its sheer size, the bugs in the game are not surprising. After discovering that one of Starfield’s best suits is free thanks to a nifty trick, players have encountered another similar cheat of the kind that could make your Constellation Explorer rich early on. If 160,000 points sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. As someone who sells cubed food for cash, I can use any extra credits.

When said credits are free, it makes it even better. If you’re on the Stroud-Eklund Staryard, try the trick yourself. Once you exit your ship, proceed directly to the next room where the ship parts display is located. Move to the right side of the screen rope and use some fun camera movements to force the collision to push you through the wall. If you run fast, this will be easier to achieve.

This is where the exploit becomes more difficult to perform correctly, as you can see in Screenshots From Jovian Cream above. Once you cross the wall, you’ll need to be quick and use your boosts to land on a small patch of solid ground. Eventually, you’ll turn the corner and find yourself in front of a chest filled with a whopping 160,000 points. If you’re looking for extra cash, you’re in luck.

You can repeat the chest tap as many times as you want. Fly to Venus, land, rest, then return to the Staryard. It only takes five minutes or so and you’ll get the same amount every time. You’ll quickly become one of the wealthiest residents of the galaxy, with no Starfield modifications required. In a way, this method is reminiscent of Skyrim’s Whiterun chest.

With a massive Starfield patch on its way with upcoming features like DLSS support and an FOV slider, there’s no telling how long this exploit will keep working in-game. Bethesda may leave it behind for a while, or they may patch it with a major update. I myself will make many trips to the Stroud-Eklund Staryard. Although Starfield food may look delicious, it can only bring me so much money. The same goes for all those little things I stock up with everywhere.
