Jamie Foxx waves from a boat in first public appearance since hospitalization — Deadline

Jamie Foxx is out this weekend and made his first public appearance since suffering from a “medical condition” that led to the actor being hospitalized.

like Django Unchained The star is recovering from the accident. TMZ Foxx was caught sailing on a boat and waving at onlookers giving fans their first glimpse of the actor in months. Fox is seen on the boat on the Chicago River, accompanied by other guests.

It was in April when Fox’s daughter, Corinne, released a statement confirming that her father had been hospitalized.

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, had medical complications yesterday, (April 11th),” the statement read. “Thankfully, due to quick work and great care, he is already on the road to recovery. We know how much he is loved and appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.”

Nearly a month later, Foxx released a personal statement on social media providing an update on his health.

“Appreciate all the love. Feeling blessed,” read the message on Instagram.

Due to his health, Foxx was not able to host the sixth season of the Fox game show Shazam won and Nick Cannon stepped in to fulfill hosting duties. Fox announced in May that the network would continue to work with Fox and his daughter Corinne as both would host we are Familya new show set to premiere in 2024.

Fox’s family hasn’t shared details about his health, but in May, Corinne said her dad had been out of the hospital for weeks and was playing pickleball.
