Sacramento police said shortly after 4:25 p.m., officers responded to a “suspicious circumstance involving a possible armed individual.” Mack Road was temporarily closed near McDonald’s but a LiveCopter 3 was flying over the scene at Valley Mack Plaza as the road began to open up. It is not yet known what prompted the police to believe there was a gunman inside the restaurant.
