OnePlus 12 gets its first update adding Hasselblad Master mode (Update: Download link)

Original article, January 30, 2024 (09:26 AM ET): OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 12 globally, and it features several improvements when compared to the OnePlus 11. But while the company has touted the new Hasselblad Master mode on the new phone, it remains strangely missing from my review unit. OnePlus is fixing this issue with the first Oxygen OS update for the OnePlus 12, which is now rolling out to devices.

OnePlus is rolling out Oxygen OS v14.0.0.404 (EX01) on the OnePlus 12, and it comes in a whopping 6.48GB size. This is the first publicly available update for the phone. Another small update to Oxygen OS v14.0.0.10 (SP01EX01) rolled out to some devices yesterday, but strangely enough it wasn't available to the general public. My OnePlus 12 shipped with Oxygen OS v14.0.0.232 (EX01), so it looks like the latest update is the right one, and will be rolling out in just a day.

With this new update, I can confirm that Hasselblad Master mode is present within the camera app, replacing the Pro mode. Hasselblad Master Mode lets you adjust saturation, contrast, sharpness, and vignette levels before clicking the photo. You can still access the camera's manual controls under Hasselblad Master mode or leave it in auto mode.
