When WWE introduced the new World Heavyweight Championship and made it exclusive to Monday Night Raw brand, which eliminated the need to carry Roman Reigns around WWE and the Universal Championship. Rumors swirled, then, that the company would make a new title to gift to the man who’s been carrying the torch for over 1,000 days now.
Sure enough, Triple H showed up Friday Night SmackDown This week to reveal spankin’ brand new title design.
It’s pretty much the same as the WWE title, except it’s gold with lots of diamonds. They obviously wanted to stick to the same basic design but still update it in a meaningful way.
What’s always been more important is who holds the damn thing and Reigns has done a good job of making it a very meaningful championship.
