Over the weekend, Taylor Swift performed three consecutive nights of her Eras Tour at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. While attending a Sunday night show, a lucky fan caught Swift on camera rolling across the stage via a janitor’s cart, which was rumored to be. “Taylor Swift didn’t get off the janitor bandwagon during the #arlingtonerastour,” she captioned a video posted to TikTok.
We’ve been following Swift’s unconventional ways of traveling for a minute now. In 2018, we wrote about how last summer a photographer snapped a photo of Swift’s bodyguards carrying a large bag outside her apartment — a bag that appeared to contain Swift.
Splash News, the photo agency that published the photo, originally captioned, “Taylor Swift is being hauled in a huge suitcase from her Tribeca apartment to her truck, in the trunk of a car. A dozen Taylor Swift’s security guards attended to move this package carefully as no Taylor Swift remains invisible for a long time. Splash later changed the caption and retracted the claim, admitting it had not been verified, but the rumors persisted.
Then, in a fall 2018 interview with Vogue magazineZayn confirmed the rumor: “She was walking around in a bag,” he said of Swift’s creative paparazzi dodging.
And now, here we have it: I quickly emerged from the janitors’ cart. Claustrophobia has nothing to do with Ms. Swift.
