The Auburn department of the California Highway Patrol said a Tesla driver crashed into a Girl Scout parking lot near the front entrance of a Walmart in Granite Bay on Saturday. According to CHP Auburn, the incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. at the site at Sierra College and Douglas Boulevard. The CHP said it was still not known how old the car driver was, but two children, aged 10 and 11, were taken to hospital with minor injuries. A 76-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs while driving. This is a developing story.
