Diario de Guo – Rawson’s No Man’s Land: Neighbors report fighting, police doing nothing.

In February 2023, between Almirante Brown and Cecilio Avila streets, near the South Connector, stones rained down between the sides, surprising neighbors. In a conversation with this media, a resident of Conector Sur and República del Lebanon explained that there was a new conflict last night and that the battlefield was the Ceramista neighborhood.

The incident took place at the corner of Conector Sur and Beruti, where, according to sources, a group of mostly minors confronted their peers from Lot 5 in the 4 de Junio neighborhood. The victims are not the two warring parties. Neighbors in the middle of a waterfall, fed up with the same episode every week, called the nearest police station to say “everything is the same”.

For their part, the Villa Hipódromo sub-police said they “can’t cope” because they come to separate the groups but attack patrol cars and police officers. Just like two weeks ago, they destroyed a patrol car and a motorcycle.

They warn that the problem started with the theft of two bicycles this Wednesday night and one group accused the other of being the master of the crime. Meanwhile, the neighbors “risk their heads” that this plot leads to a “drug” problem.
