Do you know how Celeste is currently celebrating her 6th anniversary and her official social media account said she was cooking something small but wonderful? Well, it has now been officially revealed Celeste 64: Mountain Shards.

It's a computer game that allows fans to “recreate the magic of Celeste Mountain” alongside Madeline in a small, lively 3D platformer. As you can see, this game, which was created in about a week, was inspired by the Nintendo 64 and the early 3D platformer era.

like Most notably IGNThis isn't actually the first time Celeste has been reimagined. The developers previously turned the game into a semi-sequel to Pico-8 (a virtual machine that recreates 8-bit computer systems).

If you decide to download Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain, you'll obviously have some dialogue that takes place after the original game, making it somewhat of a follow-up to the original game. As much as we would love to play this game on Switch, unfortunately, it's a PC exclusive now. However, it is free to download on itch.io.
